Where are you? Lost my Father-in-Law who lived with us, on July 4th, last year. This was a couple of months after Mother was diagnosed with Cancer. A few weeks after F-i-L died, Mum died whilst I was away on Tour in New England & Canada. The Company I worked for, for 23.5 years, refused to let me attend Her Funeral and forced me to stay out on the Tour. Logistical Reasons prevented me from quitting on the spot. Ended up missing her Funeral, and submitted my Resignation on return to Iowa, having been accepted by another Company with just a Phone Call.. On my last assignment for that Company, I fell and broke my Shoulder resulting in a Double Fracture of my Humerus. That sidelined me for almost 6 months. Cue Covid! No Jobs in the Travel/Tourism Business. But, I have secured an excellent Gig, which I'm more than happy with and I think I will stay put. Haven't been able to travel to England since her passing - A) Due to my Shoulder and B) Covid (Bloody Marvellous) Hope all is well with everyone! Jim. |

Re: I'm Not Dead Yet!
Thanks very much.
Doing okay now, though, as well as one can do under the circumstances. Jim. |
Re: I'm Not Dead Yet!
You have had a really rough year+. Condolences on the family member's passing. Glad you got fixed up with a new gig, and hope it goes well for you.
