Default ID Theft back home

My credit here is great but I've a tingling suspicion that someone may be playing with my credit back home. I can't seem to sign up for any of the websites as I can't provide a UK address and my last one gets rejected. Has anyone overcome this?

I don't know about overcoming it, but as far as I know you can't get a UK credit rating without a UK address, unless you only just left and nobody has as yet realized that you have gone. Have you been gone for three years or more? If so, I believe that you will find that unfortunately you don't have a UK credit rating any more. That doesn't mean that someone is "playing" with your credit. Someone else probably lives at your old address so it belongs to them now, not you.

If you do have active UK accounts, then I would investigate further.

I signed up for clearscore and ran a check using my last know address.
They couldn't find anything, I guess I have been away too long
