How do the osbournes get away with U.S immigration?
We have been discussing this at work. How is it that Ozzy, Sharon and even Jack and Kelly get or got away with living in the U.S all these years with their drug and drink issues and even attempted murder of each other. Why have they never been deported? Google and Wiki don't say.

Jack Osbourne is a US Citizen. He naturalized recently.
If there is no formal police arrest and conviction of drug handling, buying and/or selling, what are they going to deport them on? Hearsay? Rumour?

When I was working at Heathrow, there was a time Virgin Atlantic had to load the aircraft with all the alcohol they need for the US to UK legs, in the UK. They were not allowed to have the necessary licenses, in the US, to handle alcohol because of Bransons' convictions. Cost them a fair bit of money having to carry that extra weight on every flight from the UK.

According to wiki there have been arrests and stints in rehab yet no mention of them ever becoming USC and people have been denied entry over drug rumours before haven't they?

John Lennon resided in New York and had a green card. Kieth Richards is 'domiciled' in Connecticut. I don't think two bigger druggies ever walked the earth ...

Errrr.....your last sentence is a bit OTT! There are a lot of celebs and non celebs with bigger drug use and abuse problems than either of these two guys that reside in the US.

John Lennon may not have been a big druggie; more a pot-head perhaps. But Kieth Richards ... he was caught with heroin in Toronto ... and his punishment was to play a free concert ... gotta love those Canadians! https://www.cbc.ca/archives/that-tim...show-1.4874726

Why is "domiciled" in quotes? Keith cleaned up many years ago. He lives a few miles away from me, and has been nothing but a model citizen in CT, sending his daughters to the local high school -- where he always came to plays and teacher meetings -- and supporting local arts nonprofits not only financially, but by attending events. His nephew owns a restaurant and it's pot luck as to whether he might turn up driving an older Porsche at lunch time and hang out there.

I put domiciled in quotes because I was looking for musicians who were British and who resided in the US. The website I read said he was domiciled in CT for tax purposes, so I wasn't sure if that meant he just maintained a property in CT and paid lip-service to living there or not ... obviously not from what you are saying. I assume he has enough money to own and live in homes all over the world. I'm not familiar with the nuances of the term domiciled so put it in quotes. Anyway, good for him getting his act together - lots of temptation when you have that kind of money and access.

Good for Kieth - his body shows clear signs of wear and tear! I would imagine he has some stories to tell!

A US Citizen is taxed on their worldwide income, no need to be resident or domiciled in the US.
