I have been to England as the pubs turn out, I've seen the weirdest shit like the only time I've seen a customer punch a waiter (Manchester), but no real shit! I've seen drug deals in downtown LA and definitely haven't lead a sheltered life - maybe I just block out bare asses?

Houston isn't aesthetically pleasing but the people are nice. The local economy is strong and diversified with jobs being plentiful and fairly secure - as secure as anything can be in a free market and Texas is even more laissez-faire than most states. Texas is HOT in the summer (read that as May to September) and the closer you get to the ocean the more oppressive the humidity can be.

We lived in San Antonio for 2 years, never went anywhere near Houston, so can't really give an opinion, wasn't that happy in TX, but nothing to do with the State. The humidity was horrid!

San Antonio is my favorite place loved it, Houston lost my car at Greens Point Mall forgot where I parked it lol.....Austin got carded when I was 32yrs GREAT place
....Forth worth got drunk in a few biker bars.Waco was my favorite the little Baptist town.
Houston gets the thumbs up from me

Going in a couple of weeks. Stopping there for a couple of nights on the way to San Antonio. Not sure what the good lady wife has planned there, but it's 10 hours form home and the Astro's are playing the Texas Rangers so i'm happy to stop for a bit.
