Default Hotel recommendation in Stockholm.

Hi. I haven't been on here in awhile! I'm being flown to Sweden to judge a cocktail competition by a liqueur company. I'm staying outside of Stockholm while the competition is going on for a few days on them but then I plan on spending a few days in Stockholm afterwards at the end of October. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'd like to spend under $200 a night and I have no interest in Air B and B. A decent area as well . I like to walk but since I'll be on my own it would be great to be around some nice bars and restaurants near the hotel. Thanks

Sheraton Stockholm Hotel, is close to the station and waterfront.
Take plenty of cash and a warm coat.

You JAMMY thing!! Golly, what a hard life you've got

Do you need a second opinion at the tasting? I used to spend a few evenings trying to taste the difference between different gins..............

I've been looking at Freys Hotels. It seems like it's in a decent location. Orbitz has a deal right now and with the promo code that I have the room is about $100 they also have a promo direct on the sight that starts on Sept 4 so I'm going to see how that goes.

Not sure we will be the best people to ask, but these might be.

Thanks. I thought about posting there as well but I figured you never know if anyone has traveled to Sweden lately and had a good recommendation.

Sweden is, generally, quite expensive but be prepared for the fact that alcohol is astronomically expensive ...
