Hello!

It's been a long time since I've said hello, so I thought I'd drop by & see how you are all doing.

Not sure if many of the 'old gang' are around anymore, but I suspect quite a few are, albeit with a few name changes, I'm sure! ;)

Life is good for Tyler & I. I'm enjoying my job & am about to drop down to part time & I can't wait. 37.5 hours a week is too long to be sat in an office...26 hour weeks, here I come! :D

Tyler is growing up so fast, he'll be 5 next months & he's just about to finish his first year at school. His speech is coming along nicely, he's had a lot of support since we got here, I'm so thankful for that. He's still seeing a few different doctors/specialists, but we're getting there.

I don't really hear from Devin. The last call I got was about a month ago, he's called about 10 times since we moved back here in August 2007. I still try to call him every now & then, but he's just not interested. :(

Anyway, I just wanted to say Hi, I hope you're all well!

Great to hear from you. Enjoy your free time and have a brilliant summer -- which I think is on its way.

Yeah, it's crazy. I'm just organising his birthday party at the moment, it's quite fun. He's into Ben 10 right now, so that's the theme.

Its got to be better than Pokemon ..... my son used to drive me crazy with that. As opposed to now he is a teen he has a pair of earphones glued to his ears and just grunts at me. Enjoy every last minute of your little one he will be a grunty, rolly eyed teenager before you know it ;)

Things are OK this end. I've spent quite a bit of time in the UK recently...always nice to go back to recharge the batteries.

Great to hear from again...don't be a stranger now!! :)

I'm trying to enjoy it, although it's been tough with all his medical problems. Tyler will be getting casts on his legs in a couple of weeks. He's a tiptoe walker & it's messing up his legs. So they're putting casts on him to hold his legs in the right position. I'm not looking forward to it at all, it would be nice if being a parent was easy, at least some of the time.

They want me to get him re-evaluated for Autism as well. :sigh:

Luckily though, he's still a Mummy's boy & loves his snuggles with his Mummy, so I get as many as I can while he's still giving them out!

Get him plenty of books, coloring pens and loads of kids dvd's and that should keep him occupied for all of 5 mins lol

At least you are going through all this back in the UK where you have a support system, and it sounds as if you are enjoying your life, and that's all that matters. You little boy is lucky to have such a doting mum as you.
