Happy Mothers Day!
I saw there is a thread in the General Discussion forum wishing people a happy Mothers Day.
I got wished a happy Mothers day approximately 15 times yesterday by friends, shop assistants, co workers etc.
I haven't lived in the UK for so long now I can't remember but did we wish our friends or strangers a happy Mothers day over there? As far as I can remember I only ever gave the wishes to my own mother.

Course we didn't/don't. The UK one is a bigger deal in the shops now than I remember though.

OK. Wasn't sure if it was only me that didn't give mothers day greetings to every random woman that looked over childbearing age or whether it was the culture in the UK not to do so.
