Heath bars?? what are they?

They're pretty much the same as Dime/Daim bars. My kids hate them so every time they find one I end up with it on my desk.

Haha, I assume this is because chocolate has quite a bit of iron in it. I had the same fear, but the other ingredients in my choccie bars seem to have solved that problem for me.

According to Amazon reviews, eating large quantities of sugar free gummy bears can help alleviate any binding issues from Halloween overindulgence.

Definitely a worthy source of defecating knowledge on there...

Are you sure this isn't a bullshit cover story for you to eat more candy?!

I'm not looking for a cover to eat more candy, I absolutely will be when I get home

At least you're honest!

I may be about to face the biggest challenge of my marriage so far. My wife watched 'What the Health' on Netflix and wants to try being Vegan for two weeks.:thumbdown:

Re: Hallowe'en "candy"

We are new to the neighbourhood, and having always seen so many kids out and about daily when running/walking the dog, we assumed we would be inundated (especially as all the kids love our dog, and know where we live), so bought lots of candy.

Hardly any trick or treaters! Which meant we were left with an abundance of candy, and that paired with a halloween movie night was NOT good pairing/idea.

I'm the worse for self control, and ate so much of everything including but not limited to: Snickers, M&Ms, reeses cups and pieces, cookies and creme, skittles, starbursts and baby ruths.

I too had the worse night sleep ever, and this morning I've given my girlfriend all the candy to take to her lab for her lab colleagues to eat otherwise I'll just make myself ill, and we have a 5k race Saturday.

I had poop issues, and about 4 cups of coffee soon got the system working. Left me on the toilet for a good half hour cleaning my insides out though.

No Trick or Treaters here either, they seem to go the local town that does a parade etc.

Usually it is the sorbitol that loosens the bowels.

People drive their kids in to my street for Halloween. Parking is usually a bit tight on a normal day but on Halloween there is no fire lane left unblocked. My neighbour counted about 200 children this year, several dozen poorly parked cars lined the streets.

Kill it with fire:

Have the same where we live, last year we even had a Truck with kids in the back and that was pulling a trailer that had more kids in it. How that's allowed is beyond me, but they pile them in between 6pm and 9pm.

No point trying to hide it, it's not exactly a secret that I have a massive sweet tooth

She can try it all she likes but it is absolutely unfair of her to make you do it if you're not into the idea. Thankfully, my wife is such a picky eater, it's something I will never have to worry about anyway :p
