Speaking of license plates it seems that in California owners of high end European imports are exempt from displaying a front license plate. I've lost count of the number of Beemers, Mercs and Audis without a front plate. My neighbor up the street hasn't had even two license plates on his car for over a year
Supposedly, Steve Jobs avoided having license plates on his vehicles by never owning one that was more than 6 months old.

Well that's a relief, he never would've been able to afford to pay a couple of speeding tickets.
