Default google search now locates e-books at your library

I saw this yesterday
https://www.engadget.com/2017/09/19/...ogle-searches/

it gives all the options for buying the ebook but now apparently shows if it is available at your local library. I meant to try it out but haven't had time yet.

I didn't have much luck with it returning accurate results. Better off googling your local library catalog and going from there.

Agreed, in the end the best way is simply to search your library catalog, or the regional consortium catalog that includes your library. You also need to understand which services are available to you - for instance, if you live in New York State, you have available to you ebooks in the New York Public Library collection. Public Library services are a whole lot richer, but also more complicated to understand these days.
