Goodbye for now
 

Hi All

Not been on for a few weeks, but just thought I would say good bye for now, its my turn yipppppppppppeeeeeeeee!!!

Packers coming this morning and fly out from Auckland Thurday night. :D

Feel a bit sad this morning, but only because it hasnt worked out here, also my lovely father doesnt help. Rung him last night and I asked him if I could come and stay for a few weeks and he told me no!! we dont have room for you!! he has a 3 bedroom house and only him and his wife live there!!! told me that he has his grand kids everyday and we would get in the way. That makes me angry in itself because I have his grandkids here with me, he is talking about his wifes grandkids. I had forgotten he was like that prefering his wifes family to his own, im his only child and he hasnt seen my kids in nearly 3 years and cant make the effort to let us stay for a few weeks.

So he actually put a downer on me returning to the UK.:frown: made me question my decission to leave all over again, but I am not going back for him I am going back for me :)

Anyway enough of me ranting about my family.

I just wanted to wish everyone good luck with their moves when it happens and I will let you all know in a month or so after my lovely holiday back how england really is and whether there is actually any british people still living there :D and how good it is to walk round ASDA again. Hiya, just wanted to say good luck with your move back. I should say that you will really enjoy walking around Asda again cos they have just got bloody massive now and they sell everything. Thats a real shame about your dad being like that with you, as if making the move back isnt hard enough as it is. Hopefully we will pass you going the other way;) lots of luck on your return hope it works out for you.

My FIL is exactly like that with our kids (his grandkids) & the total opposite with his wife's grandkids:(
Don't worry about it. Just remember all the reasons you're coming back for and get excited:D

Good luck and have a safe journey back. Let us know how you find it when you get chance and don't let your Dad spoil what you've been looking forward to doing so much.

Oh Mel I am so sorry your Dad feels that way. Aren't family wank sometimes? Good for you not letting him get to you. :wub:

I am very sorry to hear that your father feels this way.
It's his loss.
When he sees you all again he may think differently.
Lifes too short and all that.
