Re: Goats!
We have a goat. It goes by the name of "Kitchen Goat". It is amazing what he gets up to in the kitchen, the mess he creates. My daughter was very concerned that he would have to be left behind when me moved to the US and was very relieved when I was able to smuggle him across in my suitcase. All the above makes sense when you understand that this goat is invisible. Not sure when it all started, but we've had him for around 5 years - coincidentally about the same time as my daughter has been both mobile enough to create mess in the kitchen and able to communicate. I think getting a real goat as a pet would be interesting - are they territorial?

Re: Goats!
Well as aparently its my fault this thread started, i suppose i ought to post here hahaha
Up untill recently i had seven goats ( we sold them in order to emigrate, but once settle will get some more), I miss them dearly....but some goat facts that people might not know ;) Goats do not eat everything, in fact they are incredibly choosey, they dont eat grass very often either, only if there isnt a lot of shrubs left. They are incredibly clever, while your putting up a fence to keep them in, they have already worked out a way of getting out of it!! A british Saanen can produce up to 8 pints in one milking, and believe me i know!! goats need to be milked twice a day...so if i hadnt planned it right...i would of had 64 pints of milk a day from 4 nanny goats!! and thats a lot of milk for two people!! Billy goats are only nasty if provoked, or kepted constantly indoors in a pen where they can go stir crazy! Ok i will shut up now hahaha |
