I heard about the horrendous truck accident and death on the local news this morning. I know that you take the Tap and I-87 to get to the Yonkers Sugar House so was concerned it was you. When I saw that the cargo was watermelons, I was much relieved. As it is some poor family has lost a member anyway. I will say that the bridge is very crowded at best of times and truck drivers seem to drive across it like nutters (not me 55 mph for the whole 3 miles) There seems no need to rush on my job ..... I loaded out of Yonkers midnight Thursday, brought the load home where it sat till 9.00am yesterday, I delivered it 180 miles north of here and came home till thursday again :thumbup: It's a hard life :thumbup: |
