The girlie thread!

Re: The girlie thread!
Imagine really thin stickers but made of nail varnish so they stick well. I can get about 10 days out of a set which is better than I do with nail varnish. They stay on through swimming, washing up and showers. CVS sells them for about $10 (lots of funky colours and patterns) but they're cheaper at H.E.B. & Kroger.

Not the kind of "get them out" thread I'm sure some were hoping for

Can't even stand the thought of someone touching my feet so I do my own toe nails, right now they are flamingo pink in honour of my visit to the Flamingo hotel in Las Vegas. Usually they are red I'm really not sure about that crackle effect and the idea of a frenchie on my toes just seems weird.

If anyone tried to touch my feet I think I would kick them in the head. I do want a manicure but it is finding the time to do it and a good place to go to. My 6 year old daughter likes having her toes painted. They currently are bright pink and purple! I suppose being 6 she can get away with it!

I do my own pedicures but have a manicure every so often, the white tipped/gel nails are out of fashion on the west coast no idea what the little chinese and vietnamese folk are going to do hundreds upon hundreds of salons all over the place and empty!!

I am so not a girly girl and mani/pedi's are only if I have been given a gift certificate or for some real special occasion. I'm too much of a dirt digging tomboy to be worrying how my nails look.
Like some of the pics though

I walk around outside with no shoes on all the time, more likely to have grass clippings on my feel than nail polish.

Not always - you guys seem to have rip-roaring good times on occasion!
So much so that, I personally, just watch from the sidelines with no attempt at joining the party - I'd be trampled in a trice!

I have a 16 year old daughter she does my toenails, currently they are a very vibrant metallic purple.
I've never had a mani/pedi, to me it's a waste of money And I don't like having my fingernails painted as to me it feels like my nails are dirty.
Don't like the shatter nail varnish that black on white, it does look like a fungal disease. But don't mind it on other colours.
