Funny license plate
Driving through the Caldecot Tunnel tonight (East Bay, CA) from Oakland to Orinda, I saw this plate:

I saw "OH SMEG" on an NC tag this evening. I think I've seen it once before too, earlier this year or towards the end of 2012.

I've seen NY plate BOLUX locally a few times so I know I can't be the only Brit in the village.

Most states now have long block lists of words that aren't allowed. Some enterprising chap did a freedom of information request to get them and put them online somewhere.
I think this was it: http://www.governmentattic.org/State...bidPlates.html

I saw "LIMEY" a couple days ago, so finally someone stumped the money to get it...it had been available for quite a while in MA.
I've seen SWTBALZ a couple of times down I-495 which is some what appropriate for summer

Not sure why 'ACLR8N' would be banned, or 'ACCLER8' ... pretty mild (and creative) creation! Can't imagine what's up with 'ABUCK50', or 'ABC15', or 'AFASI' ...
I see blocks for AHARDIN, AHARDN, AHARDO - but not for AHARDON ...
Looks like AZ has blocks on:
UWANKER
UWANKR
UWANKRR
I don't see a list for CA, do you ? Just their rules/etc.
Thanks for sharing
