Fish 'n' chips and British beer.

Fish 'n' chips and British beer.
Our local British brewer has now gotten a British fish and chip truck to show up on Fridays. The fish and chips are by far the best I've had in Seattle, the best in fact North of Portland.
The fish is very authentic, one big piece, but the mushy peas have a bit of a hipster spin on it, cold mushy peas with mint, more of a mushy pea salad. Not authentic, but bloody good.
Anyway, my Fridays are sorted out for the foreseeable future. Pints of mild washed down with fish and chips.

You are KILLING me here...
Is it a father and son from Aberdeen, lived in Portland for years, selling the finest haddock known to humanity? If so, I remember their truck when they were in Portland.
I live thousands of miles from an ocean, and need good fish really badly...

Re: Fish 'n' chips and British beer.
Does anyone know anywhere one can get good fish and chips in the Bay Area?
I've never seen a truck selling fish and chips. I've had fish and chips at many restaurants but it's always had a kind of crust which I don't like at all.

Hijacking to ask a similar question - fellow San Diegans, any decent chish and fips around these parts? I'm yet to find anything asides from Shakespeare's.
