Fish and Chips

I've been on a health kick since New Years - low fat food, no grog, gruelling exercise etc - and I've just had fish and chips with peas, white wine and fruit 'n' nut chocolate. Let me tell you - I've never been happier !

Cheers !

I've given up smoking, quit drinking (for the time being) and started to try to force down as many veggies/fruit as poss in a day!

Don't feel much different, but I'm more regular now!!!!!!!!!:D

Best fish and chips I have had in years are from the shop on the sea front at Shellharbour Village, about 100k South of Sydney. Bloody lovely.

The fact that I could have eaten a scabby horse at the time I got them probably helped... but none the less, highly recommended.

Ahhh, but has anyone ever bought chips over here that are proper chips? Not the frozen ones. Proper chips, made from a peeled potato and fried.

I have hunted high and low for a chippy selling real chips. No chance.

Yes I could but it's not quite the same is it? I want a bag of fish and REAL chips, a pickled onion and some curry sauce...from a chippy.....preferably after I've been to the pub and had a pint of Caffreys whilst sitting beside a log fire in a 16th century pub in my old village.:D

Don't want much do I?

Okay, I'm not too far from your old area tomorrow, I'll pop in and send it to you, maybe I'll be lucky and they do a delivery service themselves...:D

fish chips and mushy peas eaten out of the wrapper on the sofa watching coronation st, with a pickled egg or two on the side . I am surprised an english person hasn't opened a chippy here, they would make a fortune here NOR.
