Default Ear worms

Everybody hates them, but we all seem to be afflicted by them from time to time.

Yesterday evening, for no apparently reason, I was cursed by Ken Dodd's Happiness. You can't imagine how much I hate that song, and having it bounce around inside my skull yesterday evening was thoroughly unwelcome!

What ear worm has afflicted you today?

For some reason I have just one, been afflicted with it for many years - since first seeing the movie.

Springtime for Hitler and Germany,
Winter for Poland and France ...

Just the word, or concept, of "Spring" sets it off.

Yesterday for no apparent reason my partner was singing that Minnie Ripperton song Loving You. Complete with the squealing bits.

If you mix a tablespoon of vinegar with a tablespoon of vodka and then drip the solution into your ear with an eye dropper that takes care of....

Oh.

You mean songs...

Last night we were surfing on YouTube and watched a Clapton track with Andy Fairweather-Lowe (sp?). OH queried how AFL had started out so I pulled up Amen Corner doing “If Paradise Was Half as Nice” ... had the darn thing on the brain ever since.

Every morning I wake up with a random line of a song in my head. It's rarely the same one and it's always very bloody random. Thankfully I've forgotten today's worm. I'll let you know tomorrow's.
