Drive a Digger.

Re: Drive a Digger.
I am prepared to host an event, lots of snow to move.

Re: Drive a Digger.
My old Council in the UK tried scaling back it's grass cutting a few years ago. The grass was left to grow several feet tall and looked a right mess. I did wonder at the time why they didn't just offer free hour long grass cutting sessions for residents to have a go on the ride on mowers? I can well imagine people jumping at the chance. I wonder if I can offer people hour long chances to do my job for me, maybe for $100 a pop or something.

Don't people pay to crawl through mud, or something?

I would really love to spend a day at this heavy equipment site. Figuring out that vital question; which is best? JCB, CASE, Caterpillar, Link-Belt, Daewoo. I'm seeing a lot of these weird excavators where the bucket is on straight tube that slides into another tube. Like a trombone. It just doesn't seem right. |
Re: Drive a Digger.
If you want mud I have plenty, well until next Wednesday when we have another storm coming in and 4 days of snow.

My friend took a job with Caterpillar in Peoria Illinois writing HR guidelines or something like that, but as part of their first-week orientation, they were taken out to the 'proving ground' and got to spend a day building sand castles with giant bulldozers, scrapers and front end loaders. He said it was a blast.
