Deer Proof Plants
Many of us live in the woods with many deer. Any advice on deer proof flowers and plants? We have found only two sure things Vinca and Pompass grass. We don’t help our situation my feeding them to the tune of over $100 per month for corn. We like to have them around but like a nice yard also.

Re: Deer Proof Plants
In my area the nurseries label the plants with deer resistant labels for those deers seem to not like, only one I can remember is Colorado Blue Spruce, a pine tree.
This is apparently what Canadian deer don't seem to enjoy. Maybe their American cousins feel the same about those plants. List. |

This one ate all our plants. Mind you, he thought we were his parents. |
Re: Deer Proof Plants
I don’t know of any suitable plants but a dog or two would keep them away as I don't think you can have deer and a nice yard.
The corn does not help and be careful, deer can be pretty dangerous. BTW, nice yard and home. |
