Covid testing at work (pharma's in house)
I want to run this by anyone in a science/medicine related field.
My company wants to conduct the PCR test onsite, using research grade only materials to test us employees (<50). We are a small tech that can do this with equipment we have. The purpose is to save money by not testing employees using a contractor.
If positive samples are detected, we will all be sent to urgent care for a 'proper test'.
Some of us are uncomfortable with having to handle each others samples and take turns to run the PCR.
So... is this legal? proper? or perfectly fine?
Would love inputs.

Personally I would want a person trained in infection prevention to be conducting the testing. As for it being legal, basically everything is legal with regards to COVID due to the liability shield put in place in the CARES act.
