OH's group likely to be open next week in my local public health district.

I'm down among the also rans, so no idea when it's opening up for me.

Hopefully sooner rather than later. Looking like for my group May might be a possibility at this point if the current pace keeps up, for the 1st shot anyhow, 2nd shot would be 16 weeks later.

I will go with him anyway, in case I get lucky, but I haven't heard anything about the partners of people with underlying conditions or seen in the vaccine-related announcements from my Dept. of Health. Is it really a thing? I wonder if it's better to ask ahead, or just show up with him and look appealing.

They are saying 21 or 28 days between shots here. 16 weeks seems like a very long time.

It is. They are going the lets get everyone that wants the vaccine with 1 dose and then start 2 doses method. They say they have the data and its approved by Health Canada.

I read that 12 weeks between the AZ shot is the optimum time...don’t know about the other vaccines. As J said Canada have extended this to 16 weeks, to enable more people to get the first shot. If all goes well, this period will be reduced.

It's all Pfizer and Moderna around here, with a little bit of Johnson and Johnson beginning to appear.

We are having our third and final vaccine clinic here at my workplace tomorrow. This is the first time that we have offered the J&J version. I was given Pfizer.

I wouldn't stop trying other locations, though, if I were you. Try looking for an appt. just after midnight; seems like quite a few pharmacies 'open up' their bookings at that time.

My wife is driving 100 miles for a vaccine appointment tomorrow. Crazy, but given the Bay Area's supply has been reduced over 40% in the last few weeks it's the only way it's going to happen any time soon.

Whoa...I thought Canada’s roll out was pretty abissmal, but I only had to walk a few hundred yards for my vaccination.
