I went to the local pharmacy last Thursday with an appointment and all the paperwork for the Moderna vaccine. I came out with paperwork for the Pfizer vaccine. No reaction at all. I've booked the second shot for a Thursday too - figure if I have a bad day with the second shot I may as well make it a work day

Anybody had the J&J single shot? Curious to know if the side effects are the same.

Only know one person who has had that one, no side effects apart from sore arm.

Went for a Drs appointment as well this morning. He spent most of the time telling me how bad the Moderna was on the 2nd day. Told me to cancel all my appointments for tomorrow, cheered me up no end.

A Pharmacist and a Dentist who both had Moderna said the same, nest Day.

I did notice that the local school district gave the teachers their second dose on a Friday....

I had my first dose of the Pfizer today and all good so far. Walgreens was very efficient!

I had 2nd shot of Pfizer on Saturday, no after effects, except a slightly sore arm. DH had his first shot of Moderna on Sunday, same after effects as me.

Same here - one friend got the JJ vaccine, no issues to report.

Well so far so good. It has been 30 hours since I had the 2nd shot and nothing unpleasant at all. All I have to do now is stop looking at the clock to see how long it has been, and if its been long enough to consider I dodged the side effects.

As a Florida man 50+ I became eligible yesterday.. Today is one year anniversary of WFH coincidentally.

At a glance no vax availability this week at nearby Publix or CVS. By nearby I mean in Florida!

When I registered there was nothing at the pharmacies and then got a call the following day for a Fire Station.

We are also 50 plus etc.

1st AZ vax yesterday...nothing...not even a sore arm.

I had the 2nd Pfizer shot 2 days ago. Zippo, nothing, nada, not even a sore arm. The only pain was pulling off the band-aid the next morning. After the 1st shot, I had a little swelling and a sore upper arm for a couple of days.
