Got 2nd dose of Moderna yesterday at Kaiser Sunset Medical Center. Went well and only minor soreness in arm.

We had received auto appointments from LA Fire Department based upon having received first dose at Dodger Stadium. Cancellation software did not work. Then, due to winter storm, LA has not received vaccine shipments and has to reschedule.

It is. At least, here it is (CT).

Both of the entries on my card now show up in VAMS and I am able to log in there and view / print / save a copy of the records.

How do you sign up?
It just shows a login option but nothing if you're not already registered.

Go to vams.cdc.gov to pre register. Then you are invited to create an account.

Tried that. It just goes straight to the login portal with no sign-up option.

All I can suggest is that you empty your cache and google for VAMS preregistration in your state. I signed up with both my town and state.

I found this text on the CDC website:

"Your employer or organization will register you as a user, if they are using the VAMS tool."

So looks like VAMS usage isn't universal.

I'm already registered on that site. It just sends updates when we qualify. I got my first shot yesterday but was notified by my healthcare provider.

I like the idea from Nutek that I can view my vaccine record online.

Checked again this morning, and still nothing. I think the disconnect is coming because I signed up both on the VAMS site and with my town. The first VAMS scheduled appointment I could get at my local hospital was a month in the future. A day later I got a call from the town that they had slots at the senior center that afternoon. At the appointment I asked if they wanted the VAMS registration number and was told no. So somehow the two scheduling entities aren't linking up -- all it shows is the appointment that I cancelled when I got the opportunity for the immediate vaccination.

Yeah.. They don't talk to each other well. If you notice, I also have a cancelled one showing there. That was caused by a similar situation to yours. I'm pretty sure they went in and modified my appointment whilst I stood there waiting for my 2nd shot. I had a VAMS cancellation txt immediately followed by a VAMS confirmation for my "new" appointment.
