To join the ranks of the great unwashed, or so it seems, but did look a good idea if anyone wants to do a bit of travelling on the cheap, especially if anyone has kids that want to do a gap year :)

aye, bit dodgy if you were on your own, but think that could be a great idea if you were travelling with a friend :)

Kids have been doing this sort of thing for years now.....seems they've gotten 'organized' now ;)

Studying my butt off and enjoying NY lol (finally made it to a salt and battery for fish n chips, my husband actually saw me nearly weep with joy). Still have my 4.0 :thumbup: and i joined the honor society and all the great stuff. Decided for certain that I want medical school, so studying has become even more important. :eek: Will be working at school soon too. Been ridiculously busy, but i think the summer will be a little bit calmer. How are ya darlin?

I'm fine, thanks for asking. Went to London and Zurich to see some operas, travelled a fair bit on business, now back to knitting ;)

Reminded me of the movie 'Bride and Prejudice' where the Indian mother didn't want the Brit backpacker in the house because 'they're dirty' :rofl::rofl:

I tried it ! ..... The couch sank.
I never have any luck with things like that .......... I bought some water ski's once but couldn't find a lake with a slope on it.
