Congratulations to our newest LPR!
Today we received the letter we'd never thought we'd get - Toon's I-751 was approved after 15 months and an RFE.
Filing date: January 2008
Approval date: May 2009
TSC transferred to VSC

Can I ask you how long each step took, approximately? I'm just about to embark on this journey myself

You can read my profile for a timeline. We breezed through the CR-1 because at that time, I could DCF for him in Amsterdam (two months from filing I-130 etc to his entering the US!). Then we got stuck in the fee hike logjam and the I-751 (supposed to take 3 months) took 15.
I gotta warn you - this journey is NOT for the faint hearted.

Snowbunny
I can't file N-400 until Nov.2010 as my I-751 was a waiver one. That means I have to be 5 years perm.resident not the 3 year based .
