I'm not sure about this. Have they produced the death certificate?

Reports I have read have said Pakistan cooperated with the US, so it appears atleast now that Pakistan was aware of the mission.

"Members of Pakistan's intelligence service, the ISI, were on site in Abbottabad during the operation, a senior Pakistani intelligence official said."

Good if it is true, but could be face saving, specificaly as Abbotobad is such a garisson town (they would not be lying they would probably have been someone connected to ISI in town - they say "on site" and NOT inormed), it might be embarassing on several levels if they admit they did not know.

"Another senior administration official told reporters that Obama's administration did not share intelligence gathered beforehand with any other country -- including Pakistan -- for security reasons. The official said that only a small group of people inside the U.S government knew about this operation in advance.

However, a senior Pakistani intelligence official said members of Pakistan's intelligence service, the ISI, were on site in Abbottabad during the operation. There was no way to immediately resolve the apparent discrepancy."

(for all we know the 'courier' guy, was the ISI guy )

OK, BS meter is going off! Osama found 100m from a Pakistani military academy, shot in the head, "had" to used facial technology to identify him, still waiting for confirmed DNA and now buried at sea! WTF!

Some closure at least.

Should burn him, why polute any body of water!

As Abraham once said " it may come from abroad or rise within" and it did on both occasions!

I say " We should not be complacent on the recent event" we have just thrown a few more logs on already burning fire!

The bogeyman is dead & justice done finally after almost a decade (or longer if you count the Kenya bombings etc.)

Now that is done perhaps Obama can get on with the real business of the day and kill the UIGEA.

Speaking of which, I wonder what the final bill will be on his alleged demise?

What was it the Gestapo used to do... send the family an invoice for the expense of killing their family member.

China does for the bullet they use.

One way to keep the costs down I suppose.
