Clocks

Always confusing this time of year, -6 to watch the football instead of -7.

But I would rather that than the darker evenings, do not like mornings anyway but getting dark early is the real bummer.

So anyway, it gets darker in the morning? Evening? An hours less sleep? More sleep? Every year I get confused twice a year.

Extra hour of sleep! Clocks "fall back" one hour.

I get confused too, but I think this is the change I like....

Fall back / Spring forward :D

I've enjoyed having only 4 hours difference talking to my family in the UK (although 5 is more manageable than the 7 hours difference it used to be when I was still in the UK and my husband lived in Colorado!

Won't enjoy it going darker an hour earlier and being lighter an hour earlier will only confuse me. It's the part of the year I don't like - other than that, I like the fall

A momentary benefit and then 6 months (?) of misery when it's dark too early every day!

Actually AZ doesn't do it (fall back / spring forward) and I love that fact, though it confuses everyone in the country.

Last night was totally confusing. My wife had changed her alarm clock, but she won't adjust mine ... I think she feels it's my responsibility

So all night I'm looking first at her side, then mine. 2:45 or 3:45? 5:15 or 6:15? Can I get up and make the coffee yet?

We're planning on cutting down and logging a tree today so I need to stay awake for that ...

Will she only cut down her half?

No .. chain sawing is different. She enjoys it, there are people she used to work with who she would like to kill with a chainsaw so managing our trees & firewood is an acceptable surrogate.

But a chainsaw novelty alarm clock - problem solved.
