Christmas Cookies
We all know that Nutek loves his cake and stollen. I exchange Christmas Cookies with friends and neighbors and am looking for new recipes. Tried of the standard ones and looking for something new.
My favorites to date are:
Tollhouse Cookies with walnuts
Almond Crescents Half Dipped in Dark Chocolate
Anyone want to share theirs?

I don't add the chopped hazelnuts. Instead I add a few tablespoons of crunchy peanut butter.

I make sweeties/candy instead because it tends to have a longer shelf life.

Re: Christmas Cookies
Anything (although preferably shortbread cookies) with a thin layer of frosting and a load of crunchy sprinkles. It's a texture thing.

Re: Christmas Cookies
I've been rolling pilsbury sugar cookie dough in coloured sugar or sprinkles before I bake them for a while. It does give a nice texture

Yes. The golden syrup is the difference to the standard oatmeal cookies made over here. It's a different texture and they're set as a block rather than cookies.
They're lovely with a bit of dried cranberries or rum soaked raisins thrown in.
