They'll give you a little U.S. flag once you get inside the hall.

Jo Good luck and don't let this guy get you going he is the reason some INS officers learn
to treat people like dogs and every time he puts his two cents in he shows the rest of us
just what an ass he really is.

Hm... I'm not an expert in Italian law, but I've never heard about a country that revokes
somebody's citizenship because he/she has been living outside of the country for 4 years.
I've also never heard about a country that wouldn't help its people to work out their
problems through an embassy or a consulate (well, I've heard about one... Russia... but we
are talking about civilized countries here). So, if you know about a good way to lose my
original citizenship, let me know, I'd love to get rid of my Russian passport.

I'm not aware of that being the case either, but some countries have strange laws.

You can renounce your citizenship of the Russian Federation if you've applied for another
citizenship, so long as you're not in receipt of papers for military call-up or indictment
in a criminal case. Call
(202) 939-8907 in morning hours to find out more.

Hi Joe,

Congratulations.

I hope you will take advantage of your rights as a new citizen and fully participate in
your government. It is incumbent on all of us to do our part to protect the guarantees of
freedom that have stood the test of time for 225 years and have cost the lives of over 6
million Americans.
