Default Cake advice required

I have to choose a cake from one of these options and no idea which one to choose. Just enough for 6 people

Mushrooms are not a cake ingredient. So that rules out # 1.

The second one looks like a winner.

1 or 5 would be my choice...but tbh I don't really care for any of them.

This is my only real option for store bought cakes. Costco and other grocery store cakes are terrible.

You're talking to a cake specialist taster ...Costco Tuxedo cake is fabulous.

trying not to derail a cake thread.

Don't like the look of any of them. Costco and Big Y here both do excellent cakes. As do Highland Park Market.

There you are!!

See...I knew we would think alike...although I've never heard of Big Y or HPM...Costco rocks.

We really should start a blog/forum or whatever on cakes/cookies/anythingsweet. The Mouse and the Starfish.

I think you missed out on a few of their offerings. I went to their site and found these:

Cake & Cupcake Menu | Cake Flavors & Pricing | Decadent Creations Bakery Portland, OR

I would think any of these would be damn sight better than the list you gave out.

I do like the look of that Almond Toffee Cake.
