Cadbury's Digestives
I caved in and purchased a pack of Cadbury's Digestives this morning.
They were made in the UK for Cadbury by Burton's Foods.
Should I just have eaten it straight from the package or have dunked it in my tea? I was rather unsweet and plain to my taste buds but can see that they might be good with a sip of sweet tea (hot).
And what about those Joffa cakes? Are they any good? Should I try them next?

mmmmm.... Digestives...
They are REALLY good quickly dunked in a mug of hot sweet creamy coffee...
Jaffa cakes are really yum... but not for dunking.
Rich Tea biscuits or McVities Hob Nobs are the really good ones for tea.
mmmmm.... digestives though... I could do a whole pack right now. (Im on a diet, can you tell? LOL!!!)

Were they CHOCOLATE digestives? If so, you should have torn them from the shop girl's hand the second you'd paid for them, stuffed the whole lot in you mouth at once and not apologised for barfing up, because of your greed, on the counter afterwards. You should do the same with Jaffa Cakes when you buy them. Don't dunk them - that's just disgusting...

You guys are too funny.
I'm going to buy the Jaffa cakes and the HobNobs when I go to the market the next time. I keep looking for the Double Deckers that NP told me about but as of yet have not found them

Re: Cadbury's Digestives
If you bought plain digestives (no chocolate on top), they're great spread with cream cheese. Just try them!
If at all possible, get real cream cheese, not Philadelphia. Something like "Laughing Cow" brand. I don't suppose you can get Dairylea here.
The digestives are similar to graham crackers but digestives are not meant to be as sweet as graham crackers. Plain digestives can be dunked in tea if you wish.

Re: Cadbury's Digestives
I have two packs in my kitchen cupboard. Want some? ... ... Tough, they're all mine! ... One pack is plain choc coated, the other plain. McVitie's of course... .. Dunked in tea or coffee.. Nice... S'long as you're quick about it! Otherwise - plop!
My TX other half (when here) loves Digestive, and while she's in TX demands I send her choc coated Digestive. Usually, everyone else around her lands up scoffing the greater quantity! ... .. S'not my fault she complains and begs for more!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MG!
Double Deckers should be swallowed whole - practice on OH first, to reduce gag reflex - and finished off with several cups of tea. I am now going to search the internet for Double Deckers. My hands are now shaking with anticipation.......
