Bud Light

Re: Bud Light
Depends on the style. Lagers should be served colder, just not sub-zero. Lower temperatures also suppress flavour (which is why you should go on serving Bud as cold as you like), and I think a lot of American craft beers are brewed at least partially with this in mind. Many of the flavours over here are much bolder/less subtle than those of their European parents (double triple imperial oak aged IPA that makes Special Brew look like it's for poofs etc....)

'cellar temperature' beer seems somehow appropriate when I'm in UK; goes with the ambience of the pub and the nostalgia. Doesn't work for me here, though. It's all about what you get used to.

Not 'room temperature' but rather, 'cellar temperature'. if you imagine an un-heated basement of a typical building in a cooler climate, that's your ideal cellar temp. not totally different from the fridge

Works in other ways too - Hence why beer from the north of England should be served with a head and that from the south absolutely not (the presence of the head knocks some of the bitterness out of the beer and this is allowed for in the respective recipes).
