I watch the birds fly south across the autumn sky cand one by one they disappear
I wish that I was flying with them...

Fire suddenly leapt from house to house, the population panicked and
ran - and I was swept along with them, aimless and lost without Carrie. Finally, I headed
Eastward for the ocean, and my only hope of survival - a boat out of England.

that pretty much echoes my thoughts on TV. However, when I was over in the UK recently, a mate of mine introduced my to 'bear grylls' (no not a program about large hairy queens) some nutter ex-sas bloke who does survival programs. for whatever reason its compelling watching. at least now if I get stuck in deliverance country 5 miles away from civilisation I can now make a rope out of yucca leaves, eat maggots from the rotting flesh of dead animals and if i get hot, pee on my t-shirt and wrap it round my head to avoid heatstroke

another program, comedy this time that i was intro'd to is peep show (nothing dirty unfortunately) quite an amusing comedy in the same kind of vein as alan parttridge or the office i.e. feel slightly uncomfortable watching it 70% of the time then spend the other 30% cracking up....
