My thought for making it UK based was that the OPs client is in the UK, and seems to prefer trading in the UK using £'s, but maybe a US corporation wouldn't be a problem.

The OP may or may not own the UK Ltd (depending on circumstances), the UK Ltd would just be his client. It just happens that the UK Ltd outsources all of it's work to the OP.

Oh my head is spinning. Maybe I should just get a US job now that my authorization came through last week. But that would mean having to be an employee again and lord I don't like that idea :-) Too spoiled now.

I'll get some tax advice. I'll come back with what I'm told in case it helps someone else in my position.
