Bread

OK so I have put up with the bread up until this point, but it is starting to drive me crazy! Anyone know of any normal tasting bread without all the crap added to it (i.e. non-enriched bread)? I'm thinking something along the lines of high end Kingsmill/Hovis.

The closest I find is 'French' bread - our Vons does a nice French loaf. Have you tried Trader Joes too?

Buy a bread maker and get your missus to learn how to make real bread.

do you have Buskin Bakers around your way? They have good, fresh loaves that don't look the same a year after you buy them.

I buy my bread from Guglhupf but it's not exactly local to you-

No corn syrup in these breads, for sure.

Isn't his lady in the UK? He should do what Ray does and learn to use the bread machine himself.
