Sweet, was hoping that would be the case!
Thanks. Will give the aquarium a miss - it's never been that big a hit with him. Children's and Science museum sound good though! We'll be there midweek (I'm there for work) so hopefully nothing will be too busy!
Thanks!
Thanks!

I second the Childrens Museum in Boston, we did it about 8yrs ago and my two loved it. Seem to recall there was a really nice fish restaurant just across the street that did fish and chips that were really good.

You'll end up walking close to/past the aquarium at some stage. The seals are in a huge tank outside for free viewing so you may as we'll stop for 5 minutes to have a look at them.

Faneuil Hall is worth a look too. There's shopping and food as well as some street entertainer to which is cheap fun.
I can vouch for the children's museum and science museum, really fun. Aquarium overpriced.

Boston you could do all the tourist crap in a day in downtown, all within walking distance of the T. Worth getting a Charlie Card in advance though to save a bit, but there's also plenty of tourist passes such as: http://www.allbostontours.com/body.a...ge=TourDetails
The Aquarium is a waste of time and money, unless you can get a library discount pass. Same for the Duck Tour, it's fun for kids and more pleasant in spring than winter.
The HC, not a bad location and plenty of decent shopping in Copley.
The Cambridge Brewing Company is pretty good and a couple mins from the Kendal red line stop on the T and around the corner from MIT, which has a cool campus to wonder around.
If getting shit faced is on the cards, orange line to Jamaica Plain is fun and plenty of fun pubs in Waltham, but that's a bit more effort.
Kids things to do, get a discount pass for the Kids Museum which will kill a lot of time and walking distance from the Aquarium and Fanieul Hall etc.
Science Museum is fab, but might be a bit much for a 2 year old.
Definitely have a baby carrier and don't rely on a pushchair. Boston is crap lugging a push chair around.
The Pru, as mentioned is pretty good for a reasonable dinner and great views. Though if you time things right, Microsoft often have a lot of free events in their NERD office buildings in Cambridge, a couple mins from the CBC pub mentioned above. It's god one of the best views of the Charles River on their balconies, but only worth it if you're into tech type talks and networking events.
Same for the Brit Consulate, which is also around the corner.

Expect some snow on your visit.
Oh and now that it's pretty warm and snow banks are melting, expect to find lots of floating dog turds mashed across the pavement as it seems people don't bother to pick them up in winter and then they all defrost.

Well mini Bink, Mrs Bink & Granny Bink went to the Childrens museum today and it was a huge hit!
Meanwhile, I had to endure an arduous boring day...
Ate at Legal Seafood last night - was very good. Main reason for going there was not having to walk outside (we're in the Copley Marriott) but it turned out to be a good choice. Wife and I going out tonight whilst Granny has mini Bink

BTW, Kendall Square is where Charlie boarded the train.

Sounds like we got lucky then. Both were good for us. I've always liked Wagamama - it's great for a quick cheap meal.
