As Foreign Secretary he will presumably have his hands full negotiating trade treaties.
Well the US might soon have a President who is a British citizen too.

As an aside I ordered Boris' consular birth certificate when bored which arrived the other day. I'm probably on some kind of watchlist now.

Yes, my assumption was that she thought that it was safer to give him something to do and keep him busy in a place where she could keep her eye on him rather than have him sitting on the back benches, sulking and plotting his next move.

Is it possible she's setting up the Brexiters she's appointed to senior positions for failure, she'll have a reshuffle and fire them, and use that as an excuse to go for some much lighter version of Brexit with a "remain" team in charge...?
