Re: Bonfire night...
In Seattle a few of the parks on the water have fire pits in them. (no firewirks though)
we go down a get a fire, cook the bangers for hot dogs on the fire then burn the guy.
American friends enjoy the novelty (V for Vendetta helped with peoples understanding)
at Golden Gardens (a park) there are ussualy 3 or 4 bombfires (as we called them), even the local Rover owners group (a club for owners of Rover vehicles) have a fire, I think they are all American.
I just made our guy this evening.
might do it in our back yard next year for a change

Yeah it's always the idiots coming up 95 or RT 1 through Kittery that get caught. They should know by now you have to go a back road.

I once went to a bonfire night in a small village near East Grinstead (can't remember the name) and people were dressed up a bit like the Ku Klux Klan - really quite strange.

Re: Bonfire night...
I think that the reason that fireworks are banned in many states & municipalities is that the right to own and set off fireworks is not enshrined in the United States Constitution. Experience shows that, unless a right is constitutionally protected, Marxists or doctrinaire Pelosi Democrats will take it away.

Re: Bonfire night...
aye, the cops just wait outside the big stores and follow you through the border and ping you...had that happen to a mate and was $500 fine....I'd just have fired the things off before the cop gets a chance to open the boot
