To bladderedly go............

Space shuttle pilots drunk on duty? You'd bleedin have to be surely?!??

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/6918801.stm

My grandad was in Lancaster bombers during WW2 and he said you had to be bladdered before each mission or they would never have gotten onboard the plane, regardless of the pencil moustache wearing, silk scarf brigade in the movies. Had our dear 'Slugger' (as his comrades called him) been a shuttle pilot they'd have had to carry the old goat aboard drooling and singing Dirty Old Town just before the countdown. All aboooouuurrrddd!!!! :)

To infinitive and beyond.... :p

I was thinking the same thing about the astronauts being drunk, hell, many of the folk aboard a commercial airliner are, but these were the pilots?!
