In a Big Country..
..dreams stay with you.
I was just watching a video of Big Country singing "In a Big Country" with an odd little video filmed in Corfe Castle, Swanage and at Dancing Ledge.
It's interesting that a relatively small country has had such a prolific musical output. Some famous bands hailing from the UK:
Led Zep, Queen, Motorhead, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, the Beatles, Stones, Duran Duran (?), Bowie, Cream, Simple Minds, Iggy Pop, Sex Pistols, the Jam (yay!), The Clash, Joy Division, Depeche Mode, the Smiths, the Kinks, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Stone Roses, Genesis, Oasis, Radiohead, the Who, BeeGees, Black Sabbath, Happy Mondays, Housemartins, UB40, Madness, Wham!, Adam and the Ants, Chemical Bros, the Shamen, the Damned, Bananarama, Flock of Seagulls, Soft Cell, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Simply Red...
Who did I miss?

What did France have? Apart from that chick who sang Joe Le Taxi.
And Jon Michel Jarre. Germany had Nina and her underarm hair. And Kraftwerk.
