If they pay with the same card, once when complete the transaction and send the batch in that night, its released on our end, from then on it's up to the bank.

If they don't pay with the card, we delete the pre-auth on check out for the entire amount.

We only send the batch in once per day during the audit, so while someone may check out at 7am on May 2nd, the batch won't be sent until 1 or 2am on May 3rd when the audit is run.

Hotels don't run on normal time, the audit manually flips the system to the new day.

If you check in at 1am on May 3rd but I haven't run the audit yet, your check in date will still be May 2nd.

Audit is generally run between 1am to 3am at most hotels.

Depending on the size of the hotel, audit can take anywhere from 30 mins up to a few hours.
