Saw them with Cheap trick and Def Leppard in NJ last year, and had quite the Spinal Tap experience getting lost backstage during Def Leppard's set, but that's a story for some other time.

I saw all those bands in the 80's and 90's. I would have loved to have seen them all together! I am glad Bret won.

I never saw any of them back then, I was more of a Yes and Genesis man. But i have known Rikki Rockett for probably 10 years or so now - met him through common interests totally unrelated to music, but related to my avatar - so now of course I go and see them whenever Poison comes through NJ. I like their hits of course and they are a blast live, but some of their best work in my opinion came out after they disappeared from MTV. Check out their 'Crack a Smile' CD if you get a chance. Rikki's solo CD 'Glitter 4 your soul' is worth a listen, too.

I'll check them out. I have seen Yes and Genesis asd well. I saw Genesis on their reunion tour a few years ago at Madison Square Garden. It would have been great of Peter Gabriel was there as well!

Nothing wrong w/ it whatsoever! All I was saying was that I think being a 'rock star' meant to several of his competitors that he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed. Kind of prejudging him based on his profession.

I finally got around to watching the final last night, I enjoyed it (apart from the half time floor show!) It was good to see him get the recognition for all his hard work.

I think shows like the apprentice show people that there is definitely more to (some) rockers/celebrities, than the stereotypical, drugs, groupies and booze image. I got a different picture of him from that show:thumbup:

A bit like the new respect I found for Gene Simmons after watching his tv show.
