IIRC, Ryanair fitted out their planes in easy to clean materials as well, including a rubber flooring, or is that just a hazy memory. I also remember a rumour that the pilots were given a bonus based on arrival times.

Just had a reply from Norwegian to my review .... on the fact they forgot to put milk on board for coffee or tea they said "sometimes we forget the small things" Also apparently a dry roll with even drier ham and cheese is the norm in Norway ..... or so they said.
Don't mean to nitpick but after paying up for the nice and tasty menu which turned out to be inedible both ways being served dry breakfast with black tea it really didn't have me starting off my holiday on the best foot.

2 pretty awful excuses, particularly the last one (for an internationally orientated business).

While I can live with (not condone) bad food etc., since I can always work around that, I do wonder if among those things that they forget things such as "check engine oil" or "are the computers working properly" might feature

You may have to forego clothes so you don't go over your meagre weight allowance.

I hope they keep the cabin temps at an appropriate level

Well I meant in the suitcase. I do not want to share an enclosed tin can with named strangers.

Well those sorts of things appear on the "minimum equipment lists" which have to be checked and signed off before the plane can leave the ground. Except for in the works of Douglas Adams, full complements of things like small, lemon-soaked paper napkins rarely feature on such lists.
