Anyone collected a car from Baltimore port?

I'm collecting a classic car I have had shipped from the UK there in a few weeks and took a look at Baltimore Port on Google maps but it looks so big and spread out I was just wondering where exactly I'd be going.

Someone I know did this to Baltimore (both ways) with his camper-van. He did the RORO from the Netherlands. You are not allowed in the port yourself, he had to take an Uber from the Greyhound bus to the “escort office” and he was taken to the right place from there. He says if you do a container you probably have to have it trucked somewhere.

RORO is what I'm doing too. I'm traveling from Indiana with a trailer so I'm guessing I have to leave that outside the port from what you say? No doubt ill find out soon enough.

It depends on the terminal. Some you need and escort do enter others you just show the paperwork and pick up your car, I have picked up a few.
Wallenius is Mid Atlantic and you will need an escort, Hoegh is Dundalk Marine terminal no escort needed.
Get there early they close for lunch from 12 to 1.30 and you will be stuck inside at Mid Atlantic, Dundalk is a little more flexible.

Good to know, thanks Otto. All I know so far is it is coming in on the MV Donnington. I couldn't find which line that was, except that it is owned by Fair Wind Navigation SA.

Replied to your PM but for others who maybe following. Vessel is heading to Bremerhaven due on the 20th October as per Marine Tracking.
If you have not done it already you will to fill in the HS7 before the vessel arrives. It should clear very quickly my last two were cleared on day of arrival.

Looks like the Donnington is due in Southampton on the 28th then on to Baltimore. Is your car on it ?
