So she might be released from hospital on Monday.

Depends how she does this weekend and/or if she needs caffeine treatment and a heart/breathing monitor and that will probably depend on how much it'll cost with insurance on the rental because they'll pay without hassle the NICU costs...weird huh :)

It's not often babies look cute when they are that young, she's a stunner already!

she's now past her birth weight, about an ounce a couple days ago and 1.5 ounces yesterday...so she's slowly filling out a bit :)

5 lbs 12 oz...had a breathing stutter last night, but sorted herself out, unfortunately that reset the clock for a clear discharge from hospital which she was half way towards.

Doctors/nurses are trying to find cheapest way for us to go forwards, probably with caffeine treatment and breathing monitor, in which case we could be home with baby in a couple of days :)

Wow Bob, I can't begin to understand how stressful this might be for you guys.

Thinking of you. And we need more pictures!

Cheers! :)

It's really odd how she's got blond/white eyebrows and lashes...her hair is getting a lot lighter in places and blond, but also muddy in places.

Eyes are now a mix of blue and grey, kind of a gun metal, no green any more.

And she's winning the battle of the belly button, it's becoming a innie! :D

Was undecided for a while there and half out and half in  Oh the silly things you worry about :)

I'm so glad you added a photo of her - she's beautiful - because your description of her is not that flattering!!! It's good to hear she's making great progress, and :fingerscrossed: you can all go home soon.
