It roughly translates as 'best man'.. the people (you each get one) who stand up for you in your wedding.. a way to join more families really. AW looks like thier daughter Stella (we had a husband/wife team). I guess she'd be like a god-daughter to me. It also means godparent.

Co-incidently I was browsing UK Nova and The Box. They have a documentary series called 'What really Happened'. Episode 3 is Amy Winehouse. I'm going to have a peek as I'm relatively new to the whole Amy Winehouse story having been away so long. Episodes 1 & 2 are Heather Mills and Michael Barrymore............... so I'm guessing it's an expose on complete ****-ups. Hopefully watch that tonight
