Amazon Prime membership $72 today only
Not available for existing members, so here's the workaround:
1. Turn off auto-renew on your Prime Membership first 2. Purchase a gift membership and send it to yourself. You can choose the delivery date so set this a day after your current membership expires 3. Gift memberships don't expire, so you can get multiple years worth of renewals at this price if you want Don't forget that you shouldn't be paying full price on Amazon - look for ways to buy Amazon (or Kindle) gift cards at a discount, e.g. Recent AMEX $25 rebate when spending $100 at Staples Chase INK cards giving 5 points per dollar at office supply stores Buy discounted Sears gift cards and use them to buy Amazon gift cards at Sears stores |
Re: Amazon Prime membership $72 today only
How do you turn off auto renew? I've logged on to "Manage Your Prime Membership" page but I'm not getting that option - only being told that I will be charged on a particular date.

You have to cancel membership.
My wife has the Prime membership and it renews today, the credit card charge has already gone through. Bug**r |

I'm in the same boat. Auto renew day was today and it has already gone through my credit card.
