Talking Amazing car ride... not

Only in America, man took wife for a car ride, she was on the hood, and he was doing 100mph.

She was clinging to the hood, according to the article. What could you cling to that would be secure enough to stop you falling off?

He must be a nutter. No way would I drive at that speed, with my wife clinging to the hood.

I always stick to the speed limit when she's on the hood !

But when she falls off, boy, then I go for it

As Leno said, the argument started when she complained that he didn't take her anywhere anymore.

I dunno what she used, but I'd have had a double handfull of hood.

And if you don't think that's possible, put me on a hood at 100mph and watch!

In terms of obstructed view, you've got to wonder if it's legal. I once got a $90 "obstructed view" ticket from a trooper just because I had a parking permit hanging from the rear view mirror. Having the wife about two feet in front of you has got to be worse; especially at high speeds.

I guess it wouldn't happen in the UK since they made hood ornaments illegal to prevent injury to pedestrians. If she had flown off into a crowd of people it could have been potentially quite serious.
