I would like a snowy Christmas, but not looking like that will happen, and most of what fell last week will be gone, but it's brown and gross now anyhow.

Would be nice to have a family gathering on Christmas, but suppose one needs to have family close by to do so...lol

Not going to be a white Christmas down here either.

As for family, those are the people near and dear to you and not necessarily related by blood.

I vaguely remember the days when I used to get a Christmas bonus from work. One place used to give us wine and goodies to take home aswell.

True, most just happen to be related by blood...lol.

I got a Christmas bonus from a company once, we all got $50 extra...lol

Haven't even had an employer who even did a basic Christmas party for their workers since 1999 or so.

I do suppose $50 per employee over 10,000 employees does add up.

Considering the company had posted a loss for the year, guess it was nice to get anything extra at the time.

Another day closer and still going to work instead of concentrating on Christmas.

One upside for being a procrastinator: on Monday evening I sent 4 gift cards through HighStreetVouchers to family in the UK. Got 2 thank you messages today. That was a quick turn around!

Roll on 5pm then I can get in Christmas mode:santa:

I've been cleaning. No sign of sausage rolls yet

If you had cleaned my house you would have been sausage rolled out by now!

Are you trying to say there is such a thing as too many sausage rolls?

Oh, damnit, I knew this would happen. Nutek.exe has stopped working. Someone please insert Stollen at the earliest opportunity to restart.

just a quick sit down should do the trick.

People underestimate the power of a good sit down. Pair it with a cup of tea and all kinds of problems go away.

Wait

Does that mean rolled like a sausage? as that doesn't sound good for anyone concerned, more like a felony.

Or, more plausible...

1) I ate you out of sausage rolls,
or
2) I was sick of Sausage rolls (impossible),

Devil is in the details and all that jazz.

BTW to 'invite' me to your house (I work sortof like a vampire), just spin around 3 times in a pitch black bathroom and say my name into a mirror and boom... Your wine is gone and I'm passed out under the xmas tree  Way cheaper way to travel than Virgin America.
